Snow Days!

At first it was nice to have a couple snow days: we hung out, did some cleaning we didn't finish on Saturday, played in the snow, played wii. 

Then they called a third snow day.  So we hung out some more, did some baking: crescent rolls, cinnamon rolls and banana bread, cleaned up the toy room, and played more wii. 

Then they called a fourth snow day.  our roads were clear and the other county had a two hour delay.  So we sucked it up and went and played at the Children's Museum, went shopping, and then had a speed racer competition.

THEN they called a fifth snow day!!! Why, I don't know.  We just lost every holiday between now and spring break.  Also, I had to think of something to do...so I took an idea from Sara and we did centers: art centers, math centers and writing centers.  Followed by a forced run down the block and back to get out some energy. We had a quiz show on vocabulary (thanks Word Girl) and built a fort in the book room.  Now I just have to think of something for this afternoon.  They will supposedly be having school tomorrow - on Saturday:( - but we shall see if they really do.
