Stephanie comes for a visit

While Jared was away in Taiwan we flew my sister Stephanie out to visit.

We girls went down to the Discovery place while the boys were at school.  And had so much fun playing with paper and running on the sound lights and crafting aluminum creations.  I introduced Steph to the wonders of Kid History.  We took Stephanie out to dinner to celebrate her birthday (late), though the kids were so wound up and excited that we became "that table".

We went strawberry picking on Saturday.  It took us 2 hours to get there and 40 min to get back.  That was because we couldn't find the first farm we were going to and after an hour of driving with no luck went over to the other farm.  It was hot and we had to go to the farthest field to find strawberries that hadn't been picked yet, but it was also fun.  Especially when we brought three gallons home to eat. :)

 After some ice cream and drinks we had a wii justdance4kids party.  Serena would just stand there and swing her remote back and forth.  Isaac tried so hard, but always was in 2nd or 3rd place.  Bella just had fun dancing around everyone.

Jared got home late Monday night.  Steph and I stayed up waiting for him and dancing to a different wii dance party.  It was so much fun.

Steph stayed for another week joining us for Josh's pinewood derby, Serena's Birthday Party, Serena's pre-school graduation and picnic, and a day at Carowinds.  But those are their own posts.
